Becoming My Own Papillon.
However, my husband got a job as a 6th grade teacher so we will be moving to North Dakota in a week! The town we will be moving to is 80 miles south of Canada! We are really excited to see what hidden gems lie around us in this region. We already have like ten trips planned...we like to travel and go on adventures.
I am currently attending the University of Wyoming pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minor in French. I love the idea of running a business that helps people and improves their overall well-being. French has been my passion since middle school. I had an amazing opportunity to serve a mission for my church where I lived in three French speaking countries for 19 months. The cultures I encountered will always be engraved into my soul with the French language being apart of me.
Now why did I choose to start a blog and why did I name it 'be your own papillon'. I have always wanted to either start a blog, start a YouTube channel, or be something more than I am. However it NEVER happened. IT HAS BEEN YEARS! LIKE YEARS!! Recently I realized that I was in a happy place and confident being me. I always have a smile on my face with my beaming soul shinning bright from inside. This past year was really really tough for me so finally being in a place where I know who I was and what my purpose is, is a complete relief. This was the time to make my longtime dream a reality. I said to myself, "I just need to start. I'm going to start a lifestyle blog! Donc voila! On est ici.
I feel like I am becoming myself again, I am becoming my own papillon. Papillon in french means butterfly. I choose the french word for butterfly because it is beautiful and butterflies change. Their life is constantly changing from a caterpillar to one day a beautiful butterfly the next. Butterflies glide through the air, seeing the world and sharing their beauty with everyone and everything.
I want to share my beauty and my life with the world. Maybe it will help someone. Maybe it will be entertaining or helpful. To share my journey becoming my own papillon. Hope to see you on this adventure with me.
